Waters, author of the Fitness Equipment Review site. I've
worked in the fitness equipment industry for a for over 16 years and was formerly the V.P. of Marketing for Smooth
Fitness.
My past experience goes beyond just reviewing elliptical
trainers. I have personally met many of the owners of the
companies that sell fitness equipment, and often travels to
their corporate headquarters. That is why I offer insight
into not only the products I review, but the businesses behind them.
You will find most fitness review sites are written by individuals with no experience in the industry. In fact, many never even test the equipment. They just rewrite the information that is available on the manufacturers web site.
In addition to testing products, I enhance my reviews with information
from industry professionals, as well as customer testimonials.
You not only getting my recommendations, but also independent
reviews and ratings. One of my favorite sources are fitness
equipment salespeople. Not the ones at Dicks or Sports Authority,
but the pros at fitness equipment specialty stores. I'll
spend literally hours talking about the pros and cons of various
models.
