iFit Live offers a variety of motivational programming to enhance your workout and help you to achieve your fitness goals. It has been out on NordicTrack ellipticals for the past year and has proven to be a big hit. It is also available on ProForm and NordicTrack treadmills. Go to ProForm Elliptical Reviews for the latest models.* This is how it works. iFit Live allows your elliptical trainer to communicate with the Internet (Wi-Fi is required). Initially you create a personalized account on iFit.com and define your fitness goals and based on your input iFit Live will download workout programs designed for your needs. These programs were created by professional fitness trainers. In fact, some are designed by Jillian Michaels of "Biggest Loser" fame. They are progressive in order to get your to constantly improve and reach new heights. The program controls the resistance of your elliptical trainer and provides audio coaching for further motivation. Your elliptical communicates with the Internet and downloads your stats from your workout so you have a record of your progress. In addition to the workout programs your ProForm 600 ZNE can communicate with Google Maps. You can actually trace routes on Google Maps and your elliptical will increase or decrease resistance in relationship to the terrain. You can watch your progress on Google Maps with the use of your laptop or Smart Phone. There are slots to place your laptop on the console. There is one drawback. This feature is an additional cost. As of the writing of this review it was $129 for a year. ProForm 600 ZNE Elliptical Trainer Features...Adjustable Incline - Having the ability to adjust the incline on an elliptical trainer adds a new dimension to your workout. It works out different parts of your body. You can set the incline at three levels. At 10% incline you focus on your glutes, 20% your quads and 30% your calves. And like a treadmill, when you crank up the incline you increase the level of exertion, thus burning more calories and fat. The downside is the incline is manual, which means you have to get off the machine if you want to make an adjustment. Folding Design - For those with limited space, the folding feature is beneficial. When folded the ProForm 600 ZNEsaves approximately 2'. Furthermore, when folded it makes it easier to move and maneuver. I was concerned about the folding feature affecting the stability of the elliptical, however I found it was overall a sturdy machine for the price.
Built-in Fan - The reason I mention this inexpensive feature is the fact it is a popular item. It points at your chest, because it is proven that cooling down your core will allow you to extend your exercising. Speaker System - There are built-in speakers, with a MP3 plug-in. You are not going to get the quality of a home entertainment system, but you are going to have the apex of the sound directed right at you. Music is recognized an excellent motivator when exercising. Our Review - ProForm 600 ZNE Elliptical TrainerFirst, it is important to emphaze that the 600 ZNE is a budget crosstrainer. It is not designed for strenuous use or for very heavy individuals. In fact, the 275 lb. user weight limit is pushing it. This elliptical is not as stable as the machines you find at health clubs and it definitely is not as durable. However, it is a fraction of the cost of a commercial machine. If you have a limited budget and you want to get back into shape, the ProForm 600 ZNE is a contender. ProForm dominates the budget elliptical market because it offers some of the best value available in this price range. |
The ProForm 600 ZNE Elliptical Trainer is new for 2011. The design has been employed in previous models. What distinguishes this elliptical from previous versions is the inclusion of iFit Live. 
10 Weight Loss Programs - If you don't want to pay for the iFit Live you have a decent selection of programs to assist you in losing weight. I personally vary the programs when I workout on my elliptical. It helps to break up the monotony of exercising in place.
