Yowza Fitness Bonita Elliptical Trainer Review

2012 Elliptical Trainer Reviews     |     "Best Buy" Elliptical Trainers

Yowza Fitness Bonita Elliptical Trainer Review and RatingThe Yowza Bonita elliptical trainer is their lowest priced model to offer the cardio core technology.  Yowza started selling this new biomechanical feature on a couple of their ellipticals about 2 years ago.  Since then it has proven to be so popular that cardio core ellipticals represent about 95% of their elliptical sales. In fact, I was told they have sold about 10,000 machines with this feature.

Unlike your typical elliptical upper body workout, where the handlebars move forward and backwards along your side, the cardio core utilizes a couple of T-bars the move left and right in front of you.  The purpose of the design is to target and trim your abdominal muscles, which is an area most people want to improve.  You will find that in general elliptical trainers do not work the abs.  They tend to work the arms and the shoulders only.

Note: The Yowza Bonita typically sells for $1,299 with free shipping. Go to www.YowzaFitness.com for the latest deal.*

Today's Promotion: Get $100 off, insert coupon code "PROM100-412M" during the "add shipping info" part of checkout. This is the only discount available.

When I first tried a cardio core elliptical two years ago I had my reservations about the cardio core feature.  It was not because I didn't find it effective, but because it was innovative and different.  Those reservations have been resolved.  In talking to Joe Alter, the President of Yowza, he mentioned that the approval rating of this technology has been overwhelmingly positive and consequently it has become a major focus of the company.  People who buy one of the Yowza ellipticals with it are hooked.

Yowza Bonita Elliptical Trainer Features...

Built in Fixed "Ramp-Less" Incline — The elliptical motion is set at a slight incline to give you a more effective workout.

121 Lb. Unit Weight — This is not an extremely heavy elliptical trainer, but relatively stable.  As it was explained to me, this elliptical trainer is ideal for people under 5'10" tall and under 200 lbs., although it can handle heavier individuals.

18" Stride Length — The stride length is also best suited for users under 5'10".  Taller individuals should consider one of their ellipticals with a 20" stride.

9 Workout Programs — The Yowza Bonita elliptical comes with nine user memory profiles, which stores the weight, height and sex for each user.  There are also 9 workout programs that target time, distance and calories, in addition to offering interval  and endurance training.

Speakers with MP3 Input — The sound is not bad for an elliptical at this price range.

Warranty — Lifetime frame, 3 years parts and 1 year labor.  About average.

Our Review — Yowza Bonita Elliptical Trainer

At this price range there are a number of interesting elliptical trainers to consider.  However, the cardio core feature makes the Yowza Bonita unique.  If you are of moderate weight and height, and you want to effectively target your abs, and who doesn't, the Yowza Bonita is a serious consideration.
