Home gyms are excellent for building strength, llosing weight, and toning up in the comfort of your home. In the long run they can also save you money in comparison to the monthly fee of a health club.
Home gyms come in all shapes and sizes. The problem with some home gyms is that they can take up a considerable amount of room. However, there are a number of models that offer a variety of strength workout routines and only take up a minimal amount of space.
Note: Amazon has an excellent selection of home gyms, and the prices are generally lower than you will find at fitness equipment stores. go to Amazon.com/Home-Gyms
to see their complete selection and special offers.
I personally have a home gym, and it is a vital part of my exercise routine. It is important to combine both cardio and strength exercises, which unfortunately most people do not.

This is the one I own and I would not trade it for any other machine. It is big, a bitch to assemble, but it gives a premium upper and lower body workout. Go to the BodyCraft Galena Pro Home Gym Review to learn more.
PowerTec Workbench Levergym
The Powertec WB-LS Workbench Levergym has a lot going for it. It may not have everything a seasoned bodybuilder would want but for most folks it has more than enough functionality to get you the strength gains you want. See the PowerTec Workbench Review.
Total Gym XLS
Compact and versatile, is the best way to describe the Total Gym XLS. If you have limited space and budget this machine is ideal. It even takes up less space than the BowFlex machines. I use to workout on one and was impressed with the results. See the Total Gym XLS review.
Bowflex SelectTech 552 Dumbbells
Obviously this is not a home gym, but it is a popular product for those into free weights. You dial the weight limit your desire and the SelectTech 552 adds or subtracts the amount. The SelectTech isn't cheap, but it makes changing weights a breeze. See the Bowflex SelectTech 552 review.
