Stair Stepper Reviews

2012 Elliptical Trainer Reviews     |     "Best Buy" Elliptical Trainers

There is no denying that a stair stepper will give you an intense cardio workout that burns calories. But you will find that fewer and fewer are being sold. Their market share is being replaced by elliptical trainers (See Elliptical Trainer Best Buy Recommendations).

The problem with stair steppers is you are constantly reversing the motion. That leads to continual stress on your joints, particularly your knees. In comparison, with an elliptical trainer you motion is fluid and smooth. In fact, the motion is elliptical. There is never any reversal, and consequently you have considerably less impact. If you are sold on a stair stepper then we suggest you check out StairMaster FreeClimber 4200 PT and the Diamondback 1150ST. Both are decent machines with a good reputation. But take my word and go for an elliptical instead.

Below are a couple of inexpensive models that can be found at www.MegaFitness.com.
